Waterlife – Decapsulated Brine Shrimp Eggs is a disease free live food, ideal for fry. Eggs goes through a decapsulation process which eliminates all disease organisms and parasites. This process also makes hatching faster and produces a higher yield of shrimps compared to other brands. Decapsulated Brine Shrimp Eggs may also be eaten by most juvenile fish, even before they have hatched, without fear of causing intestinal damage to the fish. The unhatched eggs are just as nutritious as adult shrimp to the fish. Suitable for most fish. You can use it in cold water aquariums, tropical freshwater and marine.

Tighten cap & shake bottle

Feeding Eggs to fish – Pour some egg solution through a damp cloth (handkerchief or fine net), rinse the eggs with freshwater, (still in the cloth or net) and add to aquarium.

Caution

Do not pour egg solution into aquaria.

Hatching eggs

Place eggs in seawater or common salt solution (S.G. approx. 1.020)

a) -3.5 level teaspoons Ultramarine sea salt to 565ml (1pint) water; -or

b) 3 level teaspoons common salt (NaCl) to 565ml (1pint) water. Whilst hatching, the eggs should be kept in a natural light (e.g. window sill), at a temperature of 30°C  (86°F) and aerated with pump for up to 72 hours approximately.

1 ml gives approximately 10 000 eggs.
